preaty cool - i bet it is very expensive also.
Hi I recently decided to purchase a treadmill before cold weather hits. Basically my fitness goals are to start with fast walking, light jogging and them move up to a higher running pace for me like 5-7 mph. I definitely want incline as well and 1-10 mph speed. Also putting the machine together I don’t want to have to be an engineer to do it! Mostly my use is for weight loss and to increase my metabolism . I have done some research on a few brands such as horizon and merit and sole. I don’t want to spend more than $600 total. I have seen quite a few of horizon models that interest me. Unfortunately some reviews I have read have said Horizon is not the best then some say it is. I am looking for at least 2 year warranty on the motor or more , lifetime on frame and at least a year on parts and labor. I look at it like this. THis is what I am willing to spend and I don’t take $600 lightly to fork out for equipment so… if I spend this amount I don’t want to have to spend this much one year later on another. I would like to get at least a several years out of the machine. I have found a few models I like in the $499-$599+ bracket and would like avid treadmiller’s input on what they like or dislike about the brand or what to look for and not to have in a treadmill. Thanks so much!

well to start i am 14 and freshmen at High School second week of school.
Ok well i have to do the mile tomorrow and the new grading system is just horrible for me (someone who doesn’t run often on daily basis) because to get an A i have to fun 7:19 or less…thats what most people get when they are training for like 2 or 3 years everyday.
and i just thought i might take up running as a sport to improve my next mile run (November). I might run outside on the sidewalk or road while it is still summer but once it gets to be cold i will run on a treadmill that my uncle owns. (i might even consider joining track and field during the spring)
but i was just wondering which running shoe should i get to start me off??
ive seen numerous people wear asics and saucony at my school that are in like cross country, track, and all that jazzy running stuff. and i did a bit of research online and looked at reviews for saucony shoes and asics and all of the reviews say the shoe is awesome!….which doesn’t help me in this case because i am trying to decide which one is better…
can any of you guys help me??! please?!
which brand is better (comfort wise, fitted, review while running, injuries, etc.) any of those would help! thanks!
*** sorry spelling mistake ^^ first paragraph…its run not fun ***
I really want to lose weight. I know a girl in my school who lost a ton of weight by just jumping on her trampoline a lot. I also know that running is a great way to lose weight. I am trying to decide between getting a treadmill or a trampoline. I found a great deal for a cheap treadmill online. It got great reviews, folds up, and is cheap ($120). The only thing is I am not sure if it will be good for running. I walk a lot, and I don’t lose weight, so I deffinitly need to be running. If I wanted to get either one, I don’t want to blow thousands of dollars on them. Is it possible to find a innexpensive trampoline? I used to have a trampoline but we got rid of it because it had “rubber bands” instead of springs and it didn’t work very well. You couldn’t jump on it. So if you could try to find a innexpensive trampoline, that’s be great. Links are awesome. One more thing: The trampoline has to have a net. Or it has to be able to attach a net to it, but that gets kind of expensive. And I don’t want those little trampoline things they have at gyms. I want a real trampoline that I can do tricks on.
I was thinking that I should buy the trampoline and then ask for a treadmill for Christmas. Or vice versa. What do you think? And, are my ideas of a treadmill or a trampoline to lose weight good? I know that I will have to eat healthy, and I already kind of do.
Here is the link to the treadmill: http://astore.amazon.com/cheap.treadmill-20/detail/B0001KRXE0
If you can find a treadmill or trampoline, please give me the link.
Thanks in advance
.
I asked this already, and searched for others asking the question, and everyone is giving mixed reviews, some say to eat before and some say to eat after…so what is the correct answer?
If it helps any I am obese(437 lbs) trying to lose weight and the cardio i will be doing is 45 minutes on a treadmill.
Thanks for any help ![]()
